About me

An accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I trained to be a person-centred counsellor after a career within the criminal justice system, later gaining further diplomas in ‘counselling children and adolescents' and 'counselling in the workplace' (EAP).  I went on to achieve a first-class BSc.(Hons) degree in ‘Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic (CBT) Approaches’ which allows me to offer integrative psychotherapy to adults, children and adolescents locally, nationally and internationally. I have since gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision.

I have worked within the Criminal Justice System, charity and school sectors since 1999 and have had an expansive and varied career, working with issues such as: depression, bereavement, anxiety, separation anxiety, Trichotillomania, alcohol and substance misuse, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, eating disorders, stress and anxiety (to name but a few).

An advanced Restorative Justice practitioner since 2008, I offer consultations to families, family courts, businesses and schools on a confidential basis.

I work from a very comfortable and quiet garden room in Uppingham or via remote online, as my clients choose.
